2025 YAY Gathering

Join us for a road trip to YAY! Through the generosity of IYMC, we are able to subsidize $500 for the registration, lodging, and meals for this event, as well as cover travel costs for 8 high school students or young adults. We also have an additional 4 seats available in the van for Friends who pay their own fees but would like to carpool with us. The YAY Gathering is open to children, teens, and their family members; young adults 18-35; and volunteers of all ages by application. We see this as a way for Scattergood students and other IYMC youth to connect with IYMC young adults, young Scattergood alumni, and more seasoned members of the IYMC community. 

The current plan is to leave Scattergood the morning of Wednesday, July 2nd in order to arrive in Clarkston in time for dinner and to depart after lunch on Sunday, July 6th. Participants would carpool together to the conference using a Scattergood vehicle. Clarkston, MI is about 7.5 hours away from SFS which means there is plenty of time for storytelling and sharing, group singing, and road trip games.
