Biography: 

Nicole is happy to be returning for her 4th year as Academic Dean at Scattergood Friends School.  Having just completed the 200 hour Yoga Alliance teachers’ certification in June of 2011, Nicole teaches yoga and is also a weekend girls’ dorm sponsor in addition to her administrative responsibilities.  She lives on campus with her dog, Mickey, her part-time husband, Steve (who also works in IL), her two part-time daughters, Rivkah a Scattergood senior, and Sophie, a Scattergood sophomore.  When she has time she enjoys: reading, spinning, knitting, sewing, yoga, travel, and old-fashioned letter writing. On vacations she likes to kayak, surf, and hang out at the beach -- any beach will do. She is also a member of her synagogue’s Ritual Committee.
