Hans Niehus

Hans came to Scattergood in the fall of 1986.  In his 25 years here, Hans has taught a variety of Project, Academic and PE classes, a small sampling of which includes - Logic, Historical Linguistics, Critical Thinking, Elvish/Bow Making, Boat Building (canoes, kayaks, sailboats) Paleolithic Technology, Medieval Armoring, Fencing, Juggling, Archery and Elizabethan Rapier to name a few.  Hans has also led various wilderness trips, both month and week-long as well as weekend activities such as sailing, canoeing, skiing and biking.
