Margie Figgins

Margie is a Scattergood Legacy; she is the child of graduates, a graduate herself, and a current Scattergood parent.  In 1999, Margie returned to Scattergood in the hopes of offering her daughter the same experience she had while at Scattergood.  While at Scattergood, Margie has held various academic and administrative positions, the most recent being 7 years in Development. 

When not at Scattergood, Margie loves to travel, a passion that was ignited during her time as a student on the Scattergood Latin America trip and through friendships with international schoolmates. While Mexico remains a favorite travel destination, she has visited 20 other countries over the years.  

As a staff member and parent, Margie is happy that at a time when many kids are looking beyond their own parents for guidance, there is a community of caring adults to provide the skills and advice needed as well as reinforcing the values Scattergood provides.
