Jane Edwards

Jane Purcell Edwards has come to Scattergood with her husband Mark and her son Jake.  Past lives were spent in Illinois, England, New Mexico, California, and North Carolina where she worked as a journalist or taught literature, composition, and history at the high school and college levels. In 2006, the University of California press published her book on Shakespeare.  When not working with Scattergood's international population, reading college application essays, or chauffeuring students into Iowa City, Jane writes short stories, quilts, and visits Chicago as often as she can.
