Dana Foster
B.S. – Biology – Swarthmore College – 1993
Dana grew up in the Washington DC area and got her first taste of Quakerism as a freshman at Sidwell Friends School. Her appreciation for Quaker ideals deepened through twenty years of work with the Baltimore Yearly Meeting Camping Program. Dana graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in Biology and came to work at Scattergood in 1993. She is currently the Scattergood Farm’s Livestock Manager, which means that she works with high school students to look after the cattle and sheep, pigs, chickens, and turkeys, as well as helping in the garden and orchards.
